The Indian Head Bank

This bank has quite a history of locations. Started in the Central House in 1851, it moved from there to the Whiting Block from 1893 - 1909 and then to the Telegraph Block. The photo shows how the Telegraph building looked after the fire in 1922. It remained open for a short time during construction of a new facility. This historic building still stands at the corner of Main and Temple Street today. The 1924 Indian Head Bank building is one of the precious jewels of Nashua!
